EL TELETRABAJO Y SUS CARACTERÍSTICAS
Resumen
El teletrabajo como una forma de modalidad de trabajo a distancia ha tenido una evolución a lo largo del tiempo. Su primer antecedente es el trabajo a distancia en los centros de trabajo medievales y se perfecciona como teletrabajo con el nacimiento de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación. Su primer ideal fue el ahorro de tiempo en el tránsito, llevando el trabajo al trabajador y no al centro de trabajo, el mismo, en la actualidad se ve como una de sus principales ventajas. Asimismo, para que exista el teletrabajo es indispensable que el trabajo se desempeñe fuera del centro de trabajo utilizando cualquier Tecnología de la Información y la Comunicación, otras características que lo identifican son la voluntariedad, la reversibilidad, la igualdad de trato y condiciones con empleados que trabajan presencialmente, entre otras.

Abstract
Teleworking as a form of a remote working modality has evolved over time. Its first precedent is remote work in medieval workplaces, and it was perfected as teleworking with the birth of Information and Communication Technologies. Its first ideal was saving time in traffic by taking the work to the worker and not to the workplace, which is currently seen as one of its main advantages. Likewise, for teleworking to exist, it is essential that the work be carried out outside the workplace using any Information and Communication Technology, other characteristics are that it is voluntary, reversible, provides equal treatment and conditions with employees who work in site, among others.
